He Knoweth not how !.

He knoweth not how !

King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived wrote some 2-3 thousand years ago that; The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city (Eccl 10 v 15).
For everything that a person does or must do, there is a "how to" to it. There is a how to drive, a how to cook, a how to use electrical appliances, a how to pray, a how to swim, a how to govern, a how to serve and on and on and on! There is a "how to" about everything in life. I mean for "EVERYTHING" that humans must do, there is a "HOW TO". Of course, there are many ways of getting things done but the how to refers to "THE BEST" way or MANNER of getting things done.

King Solomon penned down this statement thousands of years ago "The way of the FOOLISH man wearieth them all because he KNOWETH NOT HOW to get to the city." It means or implies that there is a way, there is a how to get to the CITY. King Solomon had the understanding of what it takes to get things done and to get them done APPROPRIATELY. What does it take to get thing done appropriately or flawlessly?
Some knowledge or some idea or some experience?, absolutely not!. It takes wisdom to get things done appropriately, flawlessly and of course effortlessly.

Now, what is wisdom?. Wisdom is the CORRECT APPLICATION of KNOWLEDGE. Wisdom is the capacity to see things from God's perspective and respond according to scriptural principles.Hence, wisdom does not equate knowledge nor does knowledge equate wisdom. Wisdom
≠ knowledge and knowledge ≠ wisdom. A person is deemed wise when he applies CORRECTLY his KNOWLEDGE of various things, issues, subjects, fields of study and circumstances into solving problems appropriately or procuring appropriate or flawless solutions to difficult situations or circumstances effortlessly.

Wisdom is the principal thing.

King Solomon wrote "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; Yea, with all thy getting get understanding"(Proverbs 4 v 7).
A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels (Proverbs 1 v 5).

It is therefore not sufficient to chase endlessly after wisdom, one must also chase after understanding also. It is the correct application of the well understood knowledge that is called wisdom. Knowledge plus poor understanding is not very different from foolishness because the actions that result from this mix of knowledge and misunderstanding produce misconceptions, division, strife, wars and a lot of unintended results but when there is proper understanding of an issue and this is mixed thoroughly and properly with sound knowledge of the issue, wisdom about how to properly and adequately tackle the issue is born.

This would mean that, knowledge + understanding + right (correct) application of knowledge = wisdom however, this mix is not one that is naturally attained by the unregenerated mind. Without God at the center of this mixture, the wisdom that is attained is what is described in James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish.

The Wisdom that is from above is a must have, for any serious minded person who would like to live life effortlessly, make it in life whilst triumphing over all the situations, circumstances and issues that life brings across or along his way.The Wisdom that is from above is a must have for any serious minded individual who intends not only to have a fulfilled life but also to fulfill destiny.
