The Devil's BIG GAMBLE.

We know the story of creation as told in Genesis Chapter 1 and 2. We also know the story of the fall of man pursuant to the woman falling for the cunning of the devil / serpent.

If we carefully follow the words that were used by the devil in tempting the woman, we easily can make two generalizations:

1) Eve had an inferiority complex.

2) Eve had an identity issue (or identity crisis).

She clearly did not know who she was nor did she understand her true nature. If she did, she would not have fallen cheaply for the "salesman's" line that the devil / serpent used on her i.e. "you shall be as gods".

She was already a god and did not need anything else to be as God. She was already a god and she already had the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of her. She had authority over the whole of God's creation, she had authority over the works of the hands of the Almighty but my guess is that Adam did not tell her that.

Adam knew who he was and that is why the serpent did not tempt Adam. The serpent also knew that Adam though was head over heels in love with Eve had not shared with her the mystery of her (their) identity. In his or its subtle nature the devil / serpent proceeded to manipulate Adam through Eve.

It was a gamble that paid off for the devil even though it was just temporary.

Temporary?  Yes, temporary because God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. The God who sees the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end. He doesn't GAMBLE!

Somehow, He had the devil just where he wanted him.

Gen 3 v 9 And God called unto Adam and saith unto him "Where are you?" v 10 and he said, I heard your voice in the garden and I hid in the garden and I was afraid because, I was naked and I hid myself"

Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit after the short commercial presentation that the devil (serpent) made unto Eve. They realized that they were all the while naked but more especially that the Aura that covered them which was as think as clothing itself (thus giving them the feeling that they were clothed) was gone, it was no longer on them and hence they understood that they were naked!

Immediately, their composition was changed. The God input was no longer there in them (their Spirit had died or returned to the giver). They had fallen from being Spirit beings to being human / natural beings (fleshly beings) whose main composition is dust.

Now, a fundamental character of the natural being is his / her / its inability to take responsibility for his actions. This is exhibited in Adam's response to God's question in Gen 3 v 11. Adam in Gen 3v 12 responded by saying "The woman whom “You” gave to be with me," She gave me of the tree and I did eat".

In essence, in Adam's own opinion, God was indirectly responsible for his fall.

Why? Well. After all, before God gave the woman to Adam to be his "helpmate", Adam lived and tended to the very same garden with the very same tree in its center and with the very same forbidden fruit and he never ate of it. Now, God gave him the woman and he ended up eating of the forbidden fruit.

Well, the deed has been done. God's next line of action was to banish Adam and Eve from the garden lest they end up eating off the tree of life. After all, Adam had just committed high treason and no longer was on God's side.

Whether he liked it or not, his loyalty was now to the devil and thus letting him (Adam the enemy) to continue to live in the garden amounted to the risk of him (Adam) gaining immortality whilst still in the devil's camp. This would be highly counterproductive to the kingdom. It was for this reason that he was banished from the garden.

God however, set the plans of restoring mankind to his rightful place of dominion rolling. We would be looking into that in the next write up coming soon.

At this juncture I would like to ask you to receive the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. If you are not yet born again, today is the day of your salvation. Please, do not pass up on this opportunity.

Please, pray this prayer with me : Dear Lord, I come to you in all humility, I know that I am a sinner but I do not wish to remain a sinner. I ask that you forgive me my sins, cleanse me with the precious blood of Christ that was shed for me, write my name in the book of Life, be my Lord and saviour. I confess that I am born again and Jesus is the Lord of my life. Thank you Lord for saving me. Amen.

If you prayed the above prayer, I congratulate you. Begin to experience God in your life in a new and refreshing way. God bless you.
